First off, DEFINITELY travel the suggested route. We made a mistake and did not follow their suggested route and it was a bit scary traveling up the switch-backs of the mountainside in the dark. That being said, we made it up the mountain and arrived. We were met at the gate and escorted to our site, then went to a seasonal's campfire where a group was waiting for us to arrive; it was a great welcome. We would definitely go again.

Our stay was summer 2015 Amenities are minimal would be putting it nicely. The well went dry every day, leaving most campers without working toilets or showers. They barely mow enough grass to get around. We will never go back.

Our first two weekends were fun. Each time after that you start to notice the lack of maintenance. Broken Hot tub ,then broken New Hot tub. Showers and bath house dirty and worn. Who puts a round toilet seat on a elongated toilet bowl. I offered to buy new seats but I was told "there is no one to install them". The campground is on a well and during our last stay the water pressure was way down due to filling the pool with a hose. The pool liner was leaking. I started using our fresh water tanks in the RV because the sulfur smell from the Well was horrible.Several weekend guest complained of bed bugs in the cabins. They left early. A neighbor next to us was dumping his black water tanks on the ground. Management was aware and did nothing. Just to much to ruin a getaway weekend. We left! The full time residents seemed nice, but some didn't get along with management which added to the discontent. Several of the full time residents we became friends with had left for good. Not as much fun as it once was . I don't think we will be back. It's a shame because we do have pleasant memories of what Bluff Creek use to be.

Something is going on at this campground that's not good. A sudden change of the Campground manager has upset a lot of full time residents. I'm also bothered that have our DL numbers and Credit cards on file. Good friends of ours are leaving the campground to pursue another adventure and a notice was posted on their campsite . The new manager posted it on his personal Face Book page with the remark "finally got rid of so and so". Why I thought? He doesn't know them! These guys were the ones who always were cooking and opening their home to others. So I asked him on his FB page , why he would post this notice. His answer was "I can do anything I want and you or them can't stop me so F%^k Off you Fagget" ! I was shocked to see this Employee of Bluff Creek Falls post a work document on his personal FB page let alone me being called a Fagget ! Which is spelled Faggot. By they way this new manager is the guy who was dumping his waste tanks on the ground. (See my previous review] He doesn't know me and as long as I have been a customer of Bluff Creek Falls I don't understand how the owners let this go on. I contacted the website and have heard nothing.
